Season of lamb

Back to do some cooking (finally, I know).

We started with every intention to cook our lamb shanks in the oven. It was so spontaneous! We planned for roast veggies (pumpkin, carrots, red onions-yummm) and obviously the beautiful meat-off-bones lamb shanks for dinner. =) To be honest, both of us are at a health condition where we shouldn't be near lamb at all.

After much nagging from parents, we made it into a stew on the stove. It didn't turn out bad, but definitely oily from all the fat from the lamb. I am not a big fan of lamb, I have to say, due to the high content in it but I love the tomato based stew with all that flavour. Simple flavours of cherry tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, herbs, garlic, onion and of course, LAMB (or to be specific, fat from the lamb) ! Stewed for so long, it is meat off bones too!

Spring has sprung. Time for lamb?

1 and only ?!

Yes, we have been MIA. I couldn't believe my eyes, it is almost a month since our last post. =( Here's an apology to anyone with a sweet tooth- peanut butter cup with chocolate based cookie? White chocolate was possibly somewhere in between. Edited: One pack comes with 2 creations; the first is a chocolate chip cookie with a peanut butter cup which is made with mini M&M's. The second one (the one I had) is a chocolate sandwich cookie (Oreo style) with a white chocolate chip peanut butter cup on the top.

To be honest, I think this little cup was almost a bit too much.
